    The Communications Assistant will support the department manager in the design and delivery of Oriam's Communication plan.

    Key duties and responsibilities

    • The Communications Assistant will be the Social Media Liaison for Oriam
    • The Communications Assistant will help deliver Oriam
    • 's Communications admin
    • The Communications Assistant will help design for social media and other networks
    • The Communications Assistant will help with Membership engagement

    Education, qualifications and experience

    These are the criteria on which the short-listing and recruitment selection will be made

    Essential

    • Educated to undergraduate degree level in a relevant marketing, business or communications discipline, or equivalent experience
    • Experience of working within a similar environment as outlined above
    • Competent in the use of relevant IT packages
    • Well-developed interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrable professional and proactive approach
    • Demonstrable ability to work quickly, flexibly and accurately in a dynamic, changing and pressured environment
    • Demonstrable provision of excellent customer service

    Desirable

    • Experience working with Canva, Adobe Suite or similar.
    • Experience in content creation and editing.
