    This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis while engaging in formal trainings that shape part of our two-year structured Graduate Development Programme. With rotations involved across Design, BIM, Commissioning and Maintenance over the course of the 2 years, this programme provides a holistic view of how we work and what we do. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of different tasks, gaining valuable experience with one-to-one mentorship from a member of our management team.     Our design department has continuous works in the following areas and will give the successful candidate experience and training in the below:

    The role

    • Design of HV layouts and electrical system standards.
    • Design of HV protection and control systems.
    • Development and review of schematic drawings and single line diagrams.
    • Developing HV system studies including protection coordination, arc flash, voltage.
    • Regulation, load flow and fault level reports.
    • Pre-commissioning and commissioning of GIS and AIS Substations.
    • Direct contact with client as Company representative.
    • Complying with specific project safety requirements.

    Requirements (skills and qualifications)

    • Recent graduates or final year students completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Discipline.
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong problem-solving ability
    • Team Player
    • Self-motivated / Able to work on their own initiative.
    • Internships on EPC companies preferred.
    • Membership of a professional body such as the IET preferred.
    • Experience of AutoCAD, ETAP, EPLAN, Revit, Cymcap preferred.
