    Your role

    As a Graduate Commissioning Engineer, you'll support the commissioning of high-voltage (HV) systems. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll develop technical expertise while ensuring projects are commissioned safely and effectively. This hands-on role provides practical training and exposure to large-scale projects.

    What you'll do

    • Assist commissioning engineers with HV/MV commissioning tasks on-site.
    • Perform point-to-point testing based on construction drawings.
    • Maintain and calibrate test equipment, reporting any defects.
    • Complete commissioning packs and test documentation.
    • Collaborate with senior engineers to finalise redline drawings.
    • Implement and commission site modifications.
    • Develop industry knowledge building a deep understanding of electrical networks, grid connections, and industry best practices.
    • Investigate issues on site and assist in troubleshooting solutions with experienced engineers.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders work alongside engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure successful commissioning.
    • Gain exposure to industry leading commissioning software and digital tools.
    • Assist in functional testing verify that protection relays, switchgear, and transformers perform as expected before going live.
    • Support system energisation be part of bringing high voltage substations online safely and efficiently.

    This is a site-based role where you'll work on a variety of technical projects. Each day presents new learning opportunities.

    What we're looking for

    • Bachelor's / Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
    • A full, clean driver's license – Essential
    • Self-motivation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
