    Role description

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Training Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in training coordination, administration, and employee development support within a dynamic engineering environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Training Team to support key learning and compliance initiatives across the organisation.

    Key responsibilities

    • Support the Training Team with general administration tasks related to learning and development activities.
    • Assist in maintaining and updating the Training/Skills Matrix to reflect employee competencies and training progress.
    • Help coordinate and schedule training courses for employees, liaising with internal departments and external providers.
    • Assist in the preparation of training course materials, including presentations, handouts, and resources.
    • Communicate with various departments to ensure training records are up to date and that all required training is completed on time.
    • Attend training meetings, take accurate minutes, and share key outcomes with the team.
    • Support collaboration with training providers to ensure training content remains current and aligned with industry standards.
    • Contribute to the creation and update of training materials in line with business training plans and department needs.
    • Ensure compliance with Training, Health & Safety, and Quality procedures in all training-related tasks.
    • Take on additional administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth running of the Training Team.
    • Use MS Excel to manage and analyse data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
    • Assist in the development of reporting tools and analytics to support team decision-making.
    • Help produce employee training reports to support audits and compliance checks.
    • Update the HR Cloud platform with new training records and certificates.
