At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work.

The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday. However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.

Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home for a maximum of 50% of the working days in any one month, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.

The role

Supporting the Honda European Motorcycles marketing team, this role will support with the assistance in producing and editing video and rich media content for our newly launched TikTok channel. The role will help in all stages of the production process – planning, capturing, editing and distribution of the content on the channel.

You will also be responsible for Community Management, responding and engaging with other accounts and customer comments, whilst also providing line management consistent reports and insights that demonstrate content performance and learnings that can be taken to alter approaches and ideas chosen for content creation.

This role will support our brand and product marketing teams, so the role will all also involve some administration duties in supporting the team with purchase orders, invoicing, privacy impact assessments, whilst also spending time working with the digital and website team, researching, and creating new focused campaign pages to drive more interest to Motorcycles.

Main responsibilities

  • Supporting the team in planning and filming TikTok Content.
  • Editing video content to produce TikTok videos and scheduling for release.
  • Generating content ideas and reacting to trends on the TikTok platform.
  • TikTok channel monitoring and evaluation, generating reports on a consistent basis.
  • Community management of the channel – both public and private messages.
  • Supporting the digital team with planning new page rollout, ideation, creation and testing.
  • Presentation creation, updates, and reporting of work carried out, via Powerpoint.
  • Attending agency facing meetings, to review and propose content ideas.
  • Team admin and meeting coordination.
  • Writing Statements of work, privacy impact assessments and raising purchase orders.

Qualifications, skills and experience

Required

  • Undergraduate looking for a placement as part of their studies, with an interest and demonstration of video editing skills is essential. Final Cut Pro/CapCut or similar video editing software experience.
  • Knowledge of the TikTok platform, with experience on being a user and or/working with a company to release content and manage audience.
  • Openness to flexible working as this role will require weekend working and potential European travel to support with filming and production.
  • Well organised and able to manage multiple diverse tasks at once in a busy role.
  • Excellent people skills with strong communication, whilst being action orientated and proactively pushing new ideas/approaches.
  • Enthusiasm for brand and the value it can bring to various audiences.
  • Willing to travel with opportunities across the UK and Europe.

Desirable

  • Full UK Driving licence.
  • Experience and understanding of filming social content (via Phone/Camera etc).
  • Passion for Motorcycles.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft programmes (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
