We have a brand-new opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP division based in our Birmingham office.

Your role will include
You will be responsible for the accurate and efficient delivery of projects from conception to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered to a ‘right first-time approach’ and that quality management procedures are followed.
Other responsibilities include:
- Using Revit and 3D BIM modelling software in design production.
- Working to current building regulations including gas & water.
- Apply and develop your knowledge of renewables.
- Participate in design team, client meetings and site visits.
Our Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health (MEP) division
Our MEP team are specialists in energy, sustainability, and engineering design. We bring buildings to life and create award winning, high-performance environments that enhance the built environment – working across all sectors including commercial, industrial, leisure, retail, manufacturing, logistics, heritage and residential.
Our work includes:
- Building performance modelling
- Building performance optimisation
- Carbon verification and validation strategies
- Daylight and sunlight studies
- Net-Zero strategy
- Sustainability benchmarking and environmental assessments
- Sustainable master planning
- Strategic utility management services

To succeed in this role, you’ll need
- Degree and/or Masters qualified within mechanical engineering or building services engineering.
- Experience working as a Mechanical Engineer, contributing to design projects and experience working on a range of building services projects in the UK.
- Knowledge of BIM processes, Revit, IES and other design software.
