This role will report to the HR Technology & Analytics Business Partner and its purpose is to deliver the firm’s HR technology and analytics capabilities. The role holder will be expected to understand and administer all our technology solutions and produce people analytics for the HR team and wider business.
Role description
This new role will be to support the delivery of the HR technology and analytics of the firm, through advice and support to the HR team and wider business. The post holder will also have responsibility for:
- Involvement in the project to select the new HR & Payroll system which will allow the successful candidate the opportunity to see the end-to-end process of installing a new system, from selection, business case to installation
- The ongoing maintenance and upgrading of existing HR technology, as well as involvement in introducing new technology to be used by the wider HR team.
- The timely delivery of Management Information and statistics to the HR team, key stakeholders in the wider firm and external bodies.
Key responsibilities
Systems and MI
- Installation of new HR technologies that drive efficiencies in the team and deliver best practice HR
- Maintain and develop our analytic dashboards and embed their use in the HR team and wider business
- Review all HR process documentation, including templates and suggest improvements.
- Develop existing management information, report precedents for the quarterly set of MI to share with the team and produce management information and identify trends.
- Develop an understanding of the current systems and make recommendations as to how they can be better embedded throughout the HR team and work with IT team to increase the system efficiency.
- Ensuring that the principles of risk management and data handling best practice are embedded within all processes and policies.
- Conducting reviews of employee files to ensure compliance and contribute to relevant HR and Firm wide audits.
Skills and qualifications required
Qualifications
- Degree educated in either HR, technology, or data related degrees
- CIPD membership or equivalent experience in specialist field.
Skills
- Demonstrable experience of being involved in projects and delivering successful outcomes.
- Ability to work as part of a team, working with others from within the HR team and wider business to deliver the work required.
- Experience of HR Systems implementations and upgrades.
- Knowledge of HR metrics and analytics and how to present them for internal reporting
- Good knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, ideally Power BI
- Ability to learn new technologies, suggest process improvements and comfortable with continuous learning
