About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in HR and facilities management. As a People Services Intern, you will support and assist the HR team in administering a wide range of human resources activities and be the first point of contact for all HR-related inquiries
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including preparing documents and reports.
- Support on-boarding and off-boarding processes for new hires and departing employees.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
- Conduct research on HR best practices and contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of internal communications, such as newsletters and announcements.
- Assist with employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related matters.
- Ensure HR systems are up to date, accurate, and compliant.
- Support the HR team in managing employee benefits and compensation programs.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement and wellness programs.
- Support the planning and execution of company events and activities.
- Assist with audits when required.
- Perform any other duties as reasonably requested by the company.
About you
- Ability to manage multiple activities with conflicting priorities.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- High level of confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
