We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Meeting and Events Sales Co-ordinator Intern to join our dynamic team.
The role
As a Meeting and Events Sales Co-ordinator Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our events team with the planning, coordination, and execution of various meetings and events. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management, sales support, and client relations. You will work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to creating memorable and successful events for our clients.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the sales team in managing client inquiries and events proposals.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings and events, including venue selection and catering.
- Prepare and maintain details event documentation and sales reports.
- Collaborate with teams internally and externally to ensure seamless event execution.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and attendees before, during, and after events.
- Assist in budget tracking and financial reporting for events.
What we are looking for
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or equivalent in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with event management software.
What we offer
- The annual salary is £27,352 (pro rata on agreed term).
- Holiday entitlement is 20 working days per annum, (pro rata on agreed term). plus bank holidays.

The basic working week will be 40 hours; however, days and hours may vary depending on requirements. A flexible attitude to working hours and days of work is essential. The internship is offered on a minimum 9-month term and a maximum 12-month term.
