We have an exceptional opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a fixed-term contract basis of 6-12 months, with a flexible start date.

We are seeking an enthusiastic nurse with a passion for patient care, a commitment to high clinical standards, and a desire for a stimulating and rewarding work environment, particularly with an interest in Orthopaedics, surgery, and diagnostic imaging. Our clinic offers both First Opinion and Orthopaedic Referral services, and our nurses rotate across all areas.

At East Neuk Veterinary Clinic, we set the bar high for surgical care in dogs and cats, often receiving referrals from veterinary surgeons across Scotland for specialist orthopaedic treatment. As a result, we handle a diverse orthopaedic caseload, encompassing routine procedures and fracture cases. Our focus remains on delivering affordable, evidence-based care of the highest quality to each of our patients.

The role will involve various responsibilities such as inpatient care, client assistance, diagnostic imaging, anaesthesia support, nurse consultations, assisting in surgeries, maintaining surgical equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring adequate stock levels.

Work in a Stateoftheart Hospital

We have well-equipped, spacious operating theatres with Multiparameter Monitoring, DR X-Ray, plus a new Siemens CT scanner and ultrasound. We stock Arthrex and Synthes fracture plating and TPLO systems, whilst the clinic also has CUE, Synacart and the Biometrix THR kits available. At East Neuk we believe in providing all our staff with the best equipment available.

Situated in the charming village of St Monans in the East Neuk of Fife, our location is surrounded by picturesque beaches, coastal trails, and unique local cafes, shops, and businesses. Despite the tranquil setting, we're just an hour away from Edinburgh and a 45-minute drive to Dundee, ensuring easy access to the excitement of city life.
