Working hours

The existing schedule operates on a 13-week rotation, involving one week of night shifts followed by a full week off. The subsequent 11 weeks include rotating through the hospital on day shifts. Shift times fall between 07:00-15:00 or 12:00-20:00, covering a week at a time of each shift so you can find a routine and plan around work in advance.

You may also asked to cover occasional twilight shifts (13:00-21:00) when our twilight nurse is on leave, but this cover is shared across the whole team. Additionally, there is a weekend daytime on-call rota on a 1:13 basis, with enhanced overtime compensation for any called-out instances. We will be happy to discuss the shift pattern in further detail on application.
