Unlock your passions at Carmel Veterinary Centre

We are a supportive and friendly practice located in Wolverhampton. Both sites are near parks for lunchtime walks. Local shops and amenities. Half hour drive to the countryside even though we are based either side of Wolverhampton town centre.

Good transport links to many tourist hotspots. Wolverhampton are regenerating the town centre which will be great for nightlife, new housing and jobs. Only a 20 minute drive from Telford town centre, 15 minutes by train to Birmingham. Lovely surrounding villages if they are looking to settle somewhere rural but with the benefits of a city close by.

We have a fantastic practice with great facilities and equipment such as handheld ultrasound scanner at one site and a standard US at our other site, endoscopes at both sites, in house Idexx lab machines at both sites and we are about to purchase a dental x-ray unit.

We have a wonderful team of 3 part time Vets plus 1 full time new graduate all working across our 2 sites and approx 8.5FTE Nurses across the 2 sites. Our RVN's routinely consult which helps to reduce the pressure on our Vet team.

We have a wellbeing garden and go on regular weekend team walks throughout the year. We are RCVS PSS accredited. We hold occasional client talks on a Saturday and support our local charities. We have ISFM cat friend silver status, RWAF rabbit accreditation and a Fear Free practitioner.

Step into a supportive start

Our normal hours of work are 40 hours per week, 4 days a week and 1 in 4 half day Saturdays. Due to the particular needs of the business we need to operate a rota system, therefore there are no normal times of work applicable to you and your daily hours, start and finish times will vary from time to time on a rota system. The rota operates Monday to Friday inclusive.

We provide a detailed induction process, one to one support, regular meetings and reviews. We have an open-door policy. We are happy to support future CPD and open to any ideas that will help us to grow and develop in the future. We have a very strong ethos of teamwork and open communication.
