JCB is a ground-breaking company that has been proudly making the earth move for over half a century. Our machines are world-renowned because they enable people to do things that would otherwise be impossible. But everything we’ve achieved has been built on a foundation of hard work, by diverse individuals, working together as a team.

What an amazing business for any graduate to start an equally amazing career. This is your opportunity to play a part in any one of the huge number of roles it takes to make this iconic business, number one.

We see the key to our future success lies in developing, training, and rewarding new talent that is keen to grow with us and forge a future that is limited only by your ambition and skill.

What does the Sales Graduate Scheme involve day-to-day?

To support our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking for exceptionally talented, mechanically minded graduates to join our Sales Graduate programme.

If you are highly capable and share our values, our 18-month programme will allow you to develop your skills and build a career in this highly challenging and rewarding environment. The scheme is responsive to the business needs where you will experience three six-month placements through our key sales functions. The placements will be across the JCB Group, whether it be Regional Sales, Commercial Sales, Product, Dealer Development, or Global Major Accounts to name a few.

Throughout, you’ll also enjoy unparalleled mentoring by our most successful people to help you along the way, there may even be the possibility of an overseas placement!

We’re one of the biggest manufacturers of construction equipment in the world. Which means a career here is a serious business and, by joining us on this scheme, the opportunities are off the scale!

There are a range of typical career paths that the Sales Graduate programme could lead to, and off-scheme roles could include, but are not limited to, some of the below:

  1. Product Specialist
  2. Sales Specialist

About you

Commercially minded, tenacious, and driven to achieve in a fast-paced environment, you’ll be an outstanding relationship builder who’s confident working with key stakeholders and may even speak a second language! Whatever your bachelor’s or master’s degree, you’ll have achieved – or at least be on track for – a 2:1 or higher and, if you don’t live near to Staffordshire, you’ll be ready and willing to relocate!

The rewards you deserve

This is your chance to join a company that values expertise, not only in rewards but also in real employee care. On a JCB Early Careers Scheme you don’t just get a competitive salary, 33 days’ holiday, and access to our company pension—you can also benefit from using our onsite gym, in-house doctor, dentist and visiting optician, as well as a comprehensive training programme including residential outdoor development.

There’s also a JCB Rewards Hub, which gives you discounts at many high street fashion and food retailers. And if you feel like biking to work? There’s our Cycle to Work Scheme.
