Position summary
In commercial, whether it’s marketing or market access, you could find yourself as part of a team tasked with launching a new product, indication or creating a value story for a world-famous brand. You could uncover invaluable insights by looking at things from our patients and healthcare providers’ point of view or develop innovative new ways to help patients and medical professionals everywhere. As a Commercial Graduate Placement, you will enjoy a varied role in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Placements in our Innovative Medicine sector are heavily involved in project management activities and liaison with other commercial colleagues from different countries in EMEA. In this role you will work closely with the EMEA Brand Lead, EMEA Product Managers and EMEA Market Access Managers and the broader cross-functional team to ensure our products are compliantly marketed in a clear and informative way, aligned to our strategy and tactical plan, and to ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the HCBI code of Practices.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Coordination of bespoke commercial activities and some specific cross-functional initiatives such as internal newsletter, and ad-hoc support on key events
- Coordination & setup meetings, tracking of meetings actions
- Analysis of specific market research and sales data
- Development of specific commercial materials
- Creation of Purchase orders and contract(s) where appropriate including Goods receipting to abide by key budget timelines (Q1.2.3.4/JU etc)
- Speaker management and approvals
- Co-ordination with external agencies and internal IBVT members
- Monitor industry press releases and competitor activities
Qualifications
Requirements of the role
- Degree Level study completed
- A minimum of 2:1 (or equivalent) achieved
- Business related or bio science degree types preferred
- Excellent fluency in English, written and oral
- Ability to travel occasionally and work over weekends during congress times.
