As the Internal Communications Associate you will provide internal communications support to the Group on internal campaigns and channels in line with the Internal Communications and JM business strategy.
The role
Your goal / purpose will be to provide entry level communications support to the Group/business on internal and external communications campaigns whilst undertaking communications activities which generally have clear overall processes and procedures.
You will be required to work from the City Office, depending on the nature of projects being pursued. This is expected to be, on average, no more than two days per week.
At certain times of the year, you will be required to work extra hours, leading up to events. Overnight accommodation close to the event will be provided. Also, the jobholder may be asked to take holidays outside of these periods.

Your responsibilities
- Measure the effectiveness of engagement and communication activities in building understanding and engagement for individual campaigns.
- Review communications feedback from campaigns and work with the Senior Internal Communications Manager, People and Purpose to understand improvements and future opportunities.
- Support with drafting and posting of myJM articles.
- Support with the curation of JM’s internal newsletter
- Support the delivery of key campaigns as assigned.
- Support with delivery of translations across campaigns
- Support with JM’s internal digital channels where required.
- Support with administrative tasks relating to planning, logistics, vendors, and procurement.
Requirements for the role
- Educated to degree level and/or have commensurate experience in internal transformation / change communications. (Essential)
- Fluent in English communication, both written and verbal (Essential)
- Excellent writing, copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Experience of new technologies including all typical office applications, Microsoft SharePoint based websites/portals, Yammer, Photoshop or similar.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Experience of working effectively in a matrix model involving multiple contributors
