Creating great assessments that allow students to share what they know is at the heart of AQA’s charitable purpose. It’s likely you’ve already taken one of our exams, every year more than a million students do. Those exams are created by our team of assessment professionals who work across 140+ different subjects, overseeing the creation of over 12,000 questions every year. All of those exams, and all of those questions, have to be carefully created each year to ensure they are accurate, can be marked reliably, and don’t have any unintended tricks or barriers. Our focus is on being fair to students, and we’re keen to recruit people who share that passion for fairness.

Join our AQA Early Careers Scheme as an Assessment Graduate and learn all about what goes into creating a good assessment, learning how each question is carefully curated to ensure it extracts the right information to allow credit to be awarded in a fair way.
