Lief is a rapidly growing social-care SaaS startup based in the UK. Through our software offerings, we’re bringing radical change in a traditionally paper-centric industry.
Our users save an average of 10 hrs per week thanks to our technology; time which can be better used towards their core function of caregiving. We’re a fully remote, distributed team since our inception, with offices in London and Bangalore.
We are looking to grow our lean product team with people who’re interested in building socially impactful products and shaping the culture of Lief. We are currently looking for a product management intern to join our product team.
About the role
As a product intern at Lief, you’ll play a key role in building products that genuinely improve lives — not just features, but outcomes. You’ll work closely with the product, tech, and business teams to shape, build, and ship impactful tools for care providers.
We’re looking for someone with strong product sense, a bias for action, and a deep curiosity about how things work — someone who’s excited to learn, build, and grow in a fast-moving environment.

What will you be doing?
- Understand the pain points of care providers through direct interactions, interviews, and data — and help craft thoughtful solutions.
- Work with the Business Development and Customer Experience teams to ensure customer requests and feedback are actioned efficiently.
- Own specific product features and enhancements end-to-end — from discovery to release and feedback.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to translate business and product goals into clear, actionable projects.
- Help define and improve internal product processes — from how we write specs to how we prioritize.
- Conduct competitive research and share insights that can help shape the roadmap.
- Write clear and concise product documentation, requirements, and release notes.
- Track key metrics and user engagement to evaluate feature impact and iterate.
What we’re looking for
- 0–2 years of experience in product management, design, operations, or a related field. Fresh graduates with internship experience are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills — you can work across teams and aren’t afraid to ask questions.
- A user-first mindset and the ability to think from first principles.
- Detail-oriented but also able to zoom out and prioritize what really matters.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and ready to take initiative.
- A natural sense of ownership — you care about what you build and how it performs.
- Strong analytical skills - use analytical skills and data to drive and shape product decisions.
Nice to have but not required
- Experience working with SaaS products or in a startup environment.
- Exposure to social care or other mission-driven domains.
