We are looking for a new artist to join our team and help us at Light and Wonder to help create the next level of online slot entertainment. Join us in pushing forward our own IPs as well as creating exciting games with our licensed partners.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in creating 2D illustrations, including characters, environments, and in-game assets, maintaining high artistic quality.
- Support the team in developing engaging 2D animations for game elements, enhancing player experience.
- Learn and work with Spine 2D to create and refine character and object animations.
- Collaborate with senior artists and developers to understand game art requirements and deliver assets accordingly.
- Adapt to various artistic styles and ensure consistency across projects.
- Optimize assets for performance and seamless integration into the game pipeline.
- Stay open to feedback and continuously improve by learning new tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
- Communicate effectively with team members and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the visual appeal of the games.
Qualifications
The following are beneficial but not essential for a successful application:
- A university (bachelor’s) degree in a related field.
