Avonvale Veterinary Centres are looking for Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our talented and passionate team.

Role and responsibilities

We pride ourselves on full nurse utilisation, incorporating consults as well as Schedule 3 procedures into your working day, providing our nursing team with great job satisfaction. Our nursing team has a wide variety of interests and expertise, including anaesthesia, ECC and behaviour, opening up the opportunity for you to grow your skills and knowledge alongside our experienced team.

We are also supported by our wonderful Patient Care Assistants who work alongside our nurses to achieve the highest standards of care for our patients.

The position will include some out of hours work, and would suit a self-motivated RVN with their own transport who is keen to develop their skills. You can choose between nights or weekends.

Having multiple certificate holders in surgery, imaging, and medicine, we take pride in continuously developing our employees' skills and interests to deliver gold standard care.

Based in the sought-after area of Warwickshire, we have the best of both worlds with historic castles, beautiful countryside including the nearby Cotswolds and with the City of Birmingham only 30 minutes’ drive and London a direct train away.
We are a very close-knit team and have both a summer social, visits from Annie’s Antics ice cream van and a Christmas party each year. We also love a team building event!
