Education

  • Structured, graduate focused educational programmes with 12 core educational days

  • Focus on primary care skill development – common primary care case presentations, surgical skills, dentistry, anaesthesia, imaging, internal medicine, dermatology and ophthalmology
  • Non-clinical skills including veterinary business training, time management, communication skills, managing difficult conversations and skills to thrive in practice

  • Up to five days CPD of your choice, in addition to 6 core educational days provided by Linnaeus

Our Graduate Development Programme in 2024 will begin in September 2024, you must be available to start then do complete essential CDP.

About us

Leadon Vale Veterinary Centre has been serving their local community for over 60 years and are an experienced and knowledgeable team dedicated to providing compassionate care.

The practice has a fully equipped surgery, with extensive surgical, diagnostic and anaesthesia equipment supporting case work-ups to a high standard. Facilities include a dedicated digital radiography, ultrasound suite, dental suite, intensive care oxygen unit, on-site lab facilities and ECG. The practice provides 24-hour emergency services.

There is a real ethos within the team to support ongoing professional development for all team members. The practice is RCVS Accredited and achieved ISFM Silver Cat Friendly Status in 2021.
