Working collaboratively alongside the Marketing & Commercial teams you will assist the eRetail Manager in deploying the eRetail strategy for Guerlain UK. You will support with the building of tailored partner plans, and be responsible for the execution of any deliverables agreed with our eRetail partners. You will ensure that we provide a platform for the market to discover our brand & products ensuring an elevated, brand lead experience driving traffic, engagement and fundamentally, sell-out whilst establishing Guerlain as a best-in-class supplier which retailers see first point of call to work with online.
Job responsibilities
Relationships
- Support the day-to-day relationship with the eRetailers and their digital teams.
- Be a point of contact and deliver exceptional client service to Guerlain’s eRetail partners, through accurate, clear written and verbal communications.
Marketing
- You will support the eRetail Manager to form and execute best in class, joint business plan proposals; tailored trade plans and launch 360 omni-channel marketing plans with each eRetailer.
- Under supervision of the eRetail Manager, you will be responsible for the on time and pixel perfect delivery of any agreed partnership deliverables.
- Responsible for ensuring all paid activity goes live in a timely manner and update any trackers accordingly.
- Be proactive and reactive to opportunities to secure FOC visibilities on site.
- Responsible for ensuring all paid and FOC visibility that goes live on site is captured.
- With approval of the eRetail Manager, you will ensure all GWP and Sampling activities are offered and sent to eRetail partners and set live according to agreed go live dates.
- Liaise with external agencies/suppliers for asset production [including the production of partner briefs], validating these with the global teams and working with eretailers to implement.
- Support with the planning of retailer strategy presentations and meetings.
Brand
- Perform regular audits of eRetailer sites to ensure they are showing brand and product content that is in line with global guidelines and fully embodies the brand identity. This includes the management of onsite brand spaces.
- Implement all updates from global, ensuring the upload and removal of new and outdated assets and copy, ensuring all changes are captured and product pages are consistent across all eRetailers.
- Keep eRetailers updated with shooting guidelines / ‘Do’s and ‘Don’t’s’ and assisting with product send outs for shoots.
Product
- Work with the Marketing and Buying teams to ensure the product catalogue on each eRetailer is appropriately optimised and best in class with fully enriched product pages.
- Ensure optimized e-merchandising discoverability [attributions].
- Providing all new product launch materials and collateral in a timely manner ensuring products launch on time and with pixel perfect brand expression in line with Launch Kit and guidelines.
- Perform thorough checks with all eRetailers on launch days so any missing launches or on-site errors can be immediately addressed and rectified.
Reporting
- Manage and update e-trade plan and all related sales performance trackers; reporting the weekly trade performance to provide sales analysis and identify opportunities.
- E-retail performance analysis understanding key drainers and drivers in the business. Drive strategies to maximise potential opportunities identified and limit drainers in performance.
- Analyse performance of any animations and online activities that have been implemented and work with retailers to gain data and any data driven insights.
- Monitor visibility on e-retailer platforms, for both Guerlain and competitors, reporting back to the business, highlighting and proactively exploring key opportunities.
- Ensure all necessary trackers are up to date at all times.
