    The Purpose

    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Performance Analyst to join the Manchester United First Team. As an Assistant Performance Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting the team's performance analysis activities, underpinning the valuable insights and data-driven recommendations to enhance player and team decision-making and performance.

    Your focus will be on coding match footage, collecting information and data, and assisting in the provision of footage (filming/recording training and matches when required). This position requires a strong understanding of elite level football, excellent organisational and analytical skills, and proficiency in using specific performance analysis software.

    The Role

    Responsibilities of the Assistant Performance Analyst are as followed;

    • Analysis service support covering pre-match, in-match, post-match and training
    • Matchday support (home/away and domestic/abroad)
    • Video and data creation, collection and organisation
    • Organisation and management of department processes (analytical and non-analytical)
    • Organisation and management of department equipment

    The Person

    Required

    • Minimum 1 year of full-time experience as a performance analyst in Professional Football (Premier League and European experience preferrable)
    • Strong proficiency in performance analysis software such as Angles, Piero and Wyscout.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and organisation skills
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of elite level football

    Desirable

    • UK drone flying licence

    Additional

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and establish positive working relationships.
    • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate training and match schedules.
