To support Metroline operations through the recruitment of drivers in compliance with all relevant legislation, and reflecting the company’s standards.
Main responsibilities
- Responding to and processing applications for employment.
- Interviewing applicants.
- Completion of various administrative tasks associated with the recruitment and selection of candidates.
- Checking of Right to Work documents and driving licences.
- Supporting the Recruitment & Training team with other duties as required.
Essential criteria
- Knowledge of recruitment, employment law and immigration legislation.
Competencies and skills
- Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate clearly and at all levels;
- Excellent attention for detail;
- Ability to operate as a team player;
- Ability to work well under pressure;
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills;
- Ability to collate and interpret statistical data;
- Must be a team player and willing to develop others to increase team and individual performance;
- Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
