Mondrian Investment Partners is one of London’s largest employee-owned investment managers with over $40 billion managed in long-only, value-style global and emerging market equity and fixed income mandates. We are looking for a determined and intuitive individual to join our Graphics team through our Graduate Program.

The key purpose of the role is the communication of complex investment data and concepts in a clear and effective manner through infographic design and data visualisation.

The ideal candidate would contribute well to Mondrian’s corporate culture with good energy levels and enthusiasm in a fast-paced client reporting environment.

About the role

The Graphics and Clients Presentations department plays a key role at Mondrian, producing thousands of internal and external reports, marketing books, and presentations.

You will be a bridge between the numbers and telling their story, taking large and often complex datasets, and turning them into clear, simple, and insightful visualisations and infographics, before creating and putting them into marketing collateral.

Key Purpose of Job:

  • The creation and production of client review books and marketing documents, to Mondrian’s corporate style
  • Production of a wide variety of presentations and documents for internal and external use, to Mondrian’s corporate style

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring high standards of creative yet disciplined and consistent infographic and visual design that allows investment teams to portray a clear message to clients and prospects
  • Efficient and timely creation and updating of presentation materials for external use; in both manual and automated settings
  • Recognising whether information presented in documents is accurate and up to date, using an understanding of the financial market and Mondrian’s business
  • Ensuring all work produced is of a high standard and follows Mondrian’s branding and style guidelines, with a good understanding of infographic design and data communication concepts
  • Ensuring work is efficiently filed electronically following best practice and documenting processes and best practice approaches
  • Maintaining and creating internal documents for ease of communication in the business
  • Working on, and where appropriate, leading on various special projects

The successful candidate will possess a rare blend of skills, being able to understand the insights generated by large amounts of data, combined with a creative eye and the design skills to visually represent it in a simple but effective way.

Technical skills

Essential

  • Confident in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

Desired

  • Charting Software skills (DataGraph, Tableau)
  • Simcorp Coric Layout Builder
  • Experience in other Adobe Creative Suite programmes such as Dreamweaver, XD, After Effects
  • Experience in Infographics (e.g. specific university module, extra curricular)
