    About the role

    You will be working in our Sustainability Team.

    The Sustainability Intern is responsible for aiding the wider Sustainability Team and Business in enabling the company to achieve meaningful progress towards the company’s public and internal sustainability goals and strategy.

    This role helps drive change through the development and adoption of strategy, standards, projects and processes.

    The Sustainability Intern must be comfortable with working across disciplines and managing projects independently, as well as taking initiative where projects have an unclear path forward.

    Principal accountabilities

    • Design and deliver Environmental and Social projects, processes and initiatives that advance Moog’s progress towards the company’s Sustainability strategy.
    • Support Moog sites around the world to establish and implement programs of work to help achieve their respective sustainability goals.
    • Represent the company both internally and externally in furtherance of the company’s Sustainability strategy.
    • Create and track metrics to evaluate our progress on key initiatives
    • Stay current on worldwide trends in Sustainability.

    Qualification and skills

    • Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

    This is a new role for the organization. Inherent in the situation is a degree of ambiguity about what the appointed person will work on first and the relative priorities, an ability to deal with that ambiguity and flexible and adaptable approach to priorities is a necessity.
