    Moonbug is seeking a Junior Rights Administrator to join our team to help run the day to day operations of Global Deals and Social Media Piracy .

    This is an exciting role and opportunity based in our London office, where you will be working with some of the biggest brands in family entertainment. You will work closely with our Distribution, Legal and YouTube teams and be responsible for ensuring our rights avails system is accurate and kept up to date with each new deal. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling content ingestion to YouTube’s Content ID tool and have a strong working knowledge of applying policies and claiming infringing content as well as the entire copyright management process.

    The successful candidate will have a fundamental understanding of how video platforms work, and how our channels and catalogue can be optimised to grow our brands through the correct use of policies. You will have a meticulous eye for detail and be extremely organised. You will be a confident communicator and at ease working in a fast paced environment, working on multiple projects at the same time.

    You will be able to demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of distribution agreements with a strong understanding of legal wording used to define distribution rights.

    Responsibilities

    • Respond quickly and precisely to new distribution deal requests to check for any conflicting rights
    • Log deals into the rights system
    • Offer feedback and insight on the platform to the tech team.
    • Help manage the Content ID process on YouTube including reference file ingestion, updating policies, asset ownership / claim disputes and content takedowns
    • Liaise with the legal team to process content takedowns/rights removals across all video platforms and ensure that our content is protected properly.
    • Highlight potential issues/ infringement and work on strategy to create best practice.

    Requirements

    • Interest in YouTube, Social Media and how they work
    • Understanding of legal terms including AVOD, SVOD, FTA, Holdbacks and Exclusivity
    • Proficient Computer skills with a focus on Excel & Word
    • A background in Media / Music / Entertainment
    • Detail Focused
    • High level Comprehension skills
    • Bonus (Ability to use UiPath)
