Our Digital Marketing team are looking for a creative, organised and sales-focused individual to take control of our email campaigns. Working alongside the Marketing, Developer and Design teams, you’ll be sending engaging content directly to the inbox of our past and potential customers to drive sales to our numerous websites.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a similar Marketing role, using an email platform and must be familiar with creating successful campaigns.

The role

  • Generate ideas and plan for new campaigns alongside department managers, whilst being adaptable to reactive content, last minute changes and feedback.
  • Optimise the current address books, segments and customer data using our email provider, Dotdigital, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Understand and work with all areas of emails from marketing campaigns, automated emails, triggered campaigns and transactional emails.
  • Working with Web Development team to build and create email campaigns.
  • Liaise with Design and Visual teams to create and find the best imagery.
  • Providing suggestions, data and reports on how we optimise future emails from past data.
  • Being at the forefront of industry trends and competitor analysis. Researching best ways for emails to work for the business, new ideas, concepts etc.
  • Reviewing sales reports, website and email analytics to identify promotions and new sources of growth.
  • Working with the wider digital marketing team such as SEO and PPC to increase knowledge of customer acquisition and use Google Analytics.

What you'll need to show us

  • 1-2 years marketing experience is required, but must have some experience with email platforms
  • Able to demonstrate understanding of email marketing
  • Experience with Dotdigital or similar email platform
  • Proven interest in digital marketing
  • Must be confident with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written skills with a keen attention for detail and accuracy
  • Experience with Magento or similar CMS ecommerce sites, paid social, Google Analytics or Tag Manager
