Job description

In this role as Events Executive, you will report into the Global Director of Events, Citeline, Pharma Ignite, and support in the smooth, efficient and timely delivery of the Citeline Awards ceremonies, panels, roundtables and other events.

In this role, you will also be attending events in the UK and abroad, which currently includes events in the US and Japan.

To be successful in this role, you will have great attention to detail and exceptional communication skills along with the ability to multi task.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Support the Global Director of Events and the wider marketing services team in the management of a variety of corporate and client events, including award ceremonies, panels, roundtables and social events.
  • Research suitable venues both in the UK and internationally to create unforgettable experiences.
  • Obtain quotes from contractors and suppliers.
  • Working with the marketing team on the development of marketing collateral.
  • Providing excellent administrative support across the events lifecycle, you will submit invoices for payment, compile joining instructions and email templates for events, preparing entry and judging packs and monitor and report on customer feedback.
  • Contribute to pre-event logistics, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Work onsite, working hands-on to deliver successful events.
  • Track event key performance areas and identify items to work on for future events.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and report on outcomes.

  • Possess a keen eye for detail and ensures every aspect of an event is flawlessly executed.
  • Demonstrate the willingness and ability to travel for events, including internationally.
  • Display a proactive and assertive attitude, taking initiative to tackle challenges head-on.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Enjoy the variety and fast-paced nature of events, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Establish productive relationships with people at all organisational levels, displaying professionalism and diplomacy.
  • Will be required to work to immoveable timelines throughout the year and under significant pressure in the weeks leading up to the awards.
