    We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our Leakage Strategy Team in Essex. This is your chance to play a key role in shaping and supporting long-term strategies that help us meet crucial leakage targets.

    In this role, you'll be based at our offices, working alongside a dedicated team of analysts in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. You’ll take the lead on planning and managing projects, conducting in-depth research, and performing data analysis that informs strategic decision-making.

    Your ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable reports will be central to driving progress and delivering results across the business.

    About you

    To succeed in this role, you'll bring hands-on experience in data collection, analysis, and report writing, along with the ability to work confidently with large datasets. Your strong numerical skills and a sound understanding of basic statistics will be essential as you turn complex information into actionable insights.

    We're looking for someone who understands the principles of demand forecasting and water balance within the context of water resource planning. You’ll be highly proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to pick up new systems, even with minimal guidance.

    Your problem-solving approach will be both pragmatic and innovative, helping you tackle challenges with confidence. Strong interpersonal skills are key, as you'll be working closely with internal and external stakeholders and navigating important discussions with professionalism and ease.

    Ideally, you’ll hold a degree in a technical discipline, or possess equivalent operational or analytical experience that demonstrates your capability in this field.
