Position

Our Marketing team is constantly evolving, always creating new ways to achieve their goals. Each member has specialisms covering traditional, digital, and social media marketing bringing together a strong team supporting Sales and the wider business.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the main objective of this role is to help develop and deliver great content, campaigns and marketing activities that will grow, engage, and delight our existing customers. We’re looking to nurture and grow our existing customer base by ensuring they are supported and have the relevant technology solutions in their businesses.

Your key responsibilities

  • Support on the day-to-day handling of UK and ROI growth marketing channels, including ABM engagement campaigns, closed campaigns, content creation and one-off announcements.
  • Conduct all campaign activities using CRM systems to ensure information is recorded and campaign evaluation is completed at all times.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to ensure campaign leads are tracked and monitored.
  • Support in the delivery of programme of events (exhibition/webinars) for the business.
  • Co-ordinate the organisation of corporate hospitality events.
  • Lead the creation of a customer-facing newsletters for the business to all customers, segment specific.
  • Effective management of external suppliers to achieve project timescales.
  • Maintain marketing contacts with third parties, insurers and partners.
  • Work to set budgets and processes to ensure the most cost-effective spend of resources.
  • Work closely with the wider team to support campaigns and goals.
  • Analyse competitor marketing activity to ensure Open GI is one step ahead.
  • Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in marketing, growth marketing and ABM marketing.

What you’ll need to succeed

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at grade C or above (essential)
  • Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification in marketing or studying towards (advantage)

Experience

  • Typically, 1-2 years’ experience within B2B marketing, or degree-level experience
  • Computer literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of Growth/ABM marketing (advantage)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (advantage)
