What you’ll do
There are four positions available on our graduate program. The successful candidates will spend two years rotating across different business functions, spending up to six months in each – Product Management, Commissioning, Editorial, and Marketing. There will be an initial four-week induction, followed by on-the-job training, a product management certification, and full-time career opportunities at the end of the program.
Your intensive induction will include training in a range of key business and personal skills to help you settle into your role quickly, build a network within the developer community, and ensure that you make the most of your time with us. Your graduate program manager will contact you before you start, and your manager and mentor will ensure you have the right training, tools, and development plans to grow. You will also be given insight into roles that may interest you at the end of the program.
You will learn how we use customer insight to develop and propose new ideas and to deliver great digital and physical book content. You will get hands-on experience in product management by working on real products across the development lifecycle – you will see how we plan and deliver new features across multiple customer journeys and progression paths, understanding how we research and commission titles, market titles to customers, and identify and connect with partners for collaboration and promotion.
