What you'll do 

As the Junior Planning Engineer, you will:

  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of Company project plan/schedule
  • Collate and input progress data whilst identifying any progress queries and liaising with the responsible Senior Planning Engineer
  • Create new schedules based on the client template using estimate data
  • Oversee Data retrieval and review pursuant to project planning status
  • Assisting with other general project related activities
  • Review project plans for conformance with PD&MS standard coding, logic and reporting parameters
  • Update company reports showing resourcing requirements, progress to date and forecast man hour liquidation per month
  • Update project plans with guidance from Senior Planning Engineers to accurately report progress to date, forecast resourcing requirements and man hour liquidation per month

  • Undertaking similar functions in a previous role
  • The use of MS Office applications

Qualifications

  • HNC or equivalent in an appropriate discipline
  • Excellent written and spoken English
