What type of things will I be working on?

The placement is designed to give you the opportunity to build upon the knowledge and skills you have acquired at university. We will provide a platform to learn and grow as part of the ED&I team and the wider HR department.

You will be actively involved in the planning, organising and administration of a range of ED&I initiatives, events, workshops etc and will get exposure to all parts of the business whilst developing a wide range of skills!

You’ll be working with our ED&I Lead, our EDI Groups and Committees and departments across the organisation, to help embed ED&I into everything that we do. You’ll assist on a variety of activity from developing and maintaining assets, to improving processes and methods for engagement with colleagues across the business, helping to create a more inclusive culture.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Logistics and administration for events, courses, roadshows and workshops both internally and externally.
  • Assisting the working group to deliver, answering any queries or requests and providing information and signposting.
  • Collating and creating content, collaborating with the communications team and working groups to disseminate information to the appropriate audiences.
  • Supporting the development of our champions community and engagement.
  • Managing our relationship with external organisations such as ENEI and the Empowered Employers programme.

Where will I be working?

This role is based out of one of our main sites in New Mills, near Wotton-under-Edge in Gloucestershire. As Renishaw sites are based in semi-rural locations, applicants must have their own form of transport or be willing to relocate to the local area.

What do I need and how do I apply?

We’re looking for candidates with a passion for HR and should have studied in/be studying disciplines in a relevant subject including, Human Resources, Business Management ore related fields (however, we are open to applications from all degree backgrounds).
