Data analyst needed to join a global, leading home improvement company as part of the Group Analytics team. In this role, you will provide digital analytics reporting and insights to increase success as the ecommerce platform grows.
Your task
In this role you will interpret data, analyze results and provide ongoing reports. You will also write code to pull relevant data from the database, and understand and support the process to optimize data quality and efficiency. Whilst working with your team to prioritize different business and information needs you will identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in data sets. Finally you will support the process the embed stringent data practices and QC processes.
About you
For this role, you will have experience as a data/business data analyst with an ecommerce background. You will possess technical expertise regarding data models, mining and segmentation. You will have an excellent understand of Google Analytics, databases i.e. SQL, and programming i.e. Javascript. You will also have good statistical knowledge and expertise with experience using stats packages like excel, SPSS, SAS etc. to analyze datasets.
For this role, it is preferred to have a BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information management, or statistics.
This opportunity boasts a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45000.
