The School of Nursing and Midwifery at Queen’s University Belfast are seeking to appoint a Research Assistant on a part time basis to become an active member of an all-Ireland project team led by Dr Gary Mitchell. The aim of this project is to co-design digital education resources for healthcare professions students.
The successful applicant will work closely with the team to complete a range of research activities including a scoping review of the literature, a Delphi study, qualitative fieldwork and a mixed methods evaluation.
About you
The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate you have:
- 2.1 Honours Degree (or equivalent) in relevant discipline OR an expected 2:1 honours degree for students who have graduated in 2023 with classification pending.
- Has experience of undertaking research in the field of health.
- Experience in developing or evaluating educational resources.
- Experience of undertaking literature reviews and quantitative data analysis.
- Track record of peer-reviewed publications or peer-reviewed publications in preparation.
This is a Fixed Term post for up to 11 months, or available until 31 August 2024, whichever is sooner. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
