Objective of the role

To support our outstanding Service Delivery Team, ensuring reliability, resiliency and taking responsibility for recommending enhancements and continuing improvements.

What will your role as our Graduate Engineer look like?

As our Service Platform Graduate Engineer, you will work closely with the Project Managers and Technical Team to ensure the service we offer to our customers is always first class, and all critical services are functional and maintained to meet set KPIs.

In collaboration with our Technical Team, you will run, improve, test and manage our Platform Operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure all critical services are operated and maintained to meet communicated KPIs
  • Work closely with our Project Managers to fully understand client requirements and issues
    and provide customised solutions
  • Collaborate with our technical team to run, improve, test and manage our Platform
    Operations
  • Assist with operational design, including development and technical operations
  • Provide technical advice and guidance for on-going usage of products for clients
  • Work with Project Managers to deliver customised solutions
  • Complete any other tasks and/or duties you may be instructed to carry out from time to time
  • Comply with Raidiam’s Corporate Policies and Procedures
  • Comply with Raidiam’s Information Security Policies and Procedures.

Essential skills and qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree (or working towards) in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • Proficient in programming in any computer programming languages or Infrastructure Management
  • Ability to work in a service function, preferably supporting large scale distribution systems operations in a cooperative team environment
  • Working knowledge of ITIL processes such as Incident, Change and Release Management
  • Ability to work with System Capacity, Performance, Monitoring or distributed systems (Issue troubleshooting would be advantageous)
  • Strong communication skills, at all levels, both verbal and written
  • Excellent analytical, creative and problem-solving skills
