    What you'll do

    Are you passionate about financial reporting and keen to grow your career in a fast-paced finance environment? Samworth Brothers is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join our dynamic Shared Services team in Callington. This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Management Accounting function, where precision and insight help drive business success. As an Assistant Management Accountant, you’ll be a key contributor to the month-end process, supporting a range of Samworth Brothers businesses. Your responsibilities will include:5

    • Preparing and posting prepayments, accruals, and other journals
    • Coordinating and calculating intercompany recharges
    • Producing balance sheet reconciliations
    • Supporting ad hoc tasks and improvement projects across the wider Finance function

    You’ll play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate reporting that supports sound decision-making across the business.

    What you will need

    There is a right role for everyone and we want to set you up for success. For the Process Technologist role we are looking for the following key skills and experience for this position:

    • Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA
    • Strong Excel skills, Power BI would also be an advantage
    • An understanding or/experience of manufacturing would be an advantage
    • Experience of analysing information and interpreting data
    • Communication skills demonstrated by working with a range of stakeholders
