Our Employment, Skills and Enterprise business provides support to citizens, from supporting the unemployed into sustainable work, to upskilling those with low or no vocational skills, so they can progress in work.

We are expanding our team and are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team in Cardiff on a Full Time basis.

The role

The Supply Chain Co-ordinator will provide a range of administrative, communications and clerical support to their assigned team of Supply Chain Managers, operating on the Restart scheme. To do this, The Supply Chain Co-ordinator will form close, productive relationships both with the Supply Chain Managers they support and the Supply Chain Partners they liaise with.

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver personal performance targets and Key Performance Indicators for the role.
  • Provide effective administrative support to a team of Supply Chain Managers across a range of critical forecasting, performance management and system access processes.
  • Provide accurate responses to enquiries, operating as a triage point.
  • Liaise effectively with representatives across the Restart scheme supply chain to ensure work is completed in a timely manner.
  • Provide cover for other Supply Chain or Specialist Provider Co-ordinators as required to ensure continuity of service delivery.
  • Complete all work in line with the relevant contractual and internal Serco compliance requirements.
  • To perform any other duties required for the post and are commensurate with the level of responsibility

What I need to do the role?

  • Previous experience in an equivalent administrative role.
  • Knowledge or experience in either an employability or supply chain management environment desirable.
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to positively work with others.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • High standards of quality and accuracy, with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable commitment to integrity and ethical delivery of services.
  • Willingness to travel locally
  • The role is Hybrid – 3 days in the office
