Reporting to the Head of Finance the primary responsibility of the Finance Assistant will be assist in the provision of our finance requirements to customers and suppliers. This full-time position will be based at our main office in Dorchester. A great opportunity for someone to learn.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm with a 1-hour lunch break, 37.5 hours per week

Main duties

Your main duties will be varied, typical responsibilities include:

  • liaising with managerial staff, colleagues and clients
  • Undertaking financial administration
  • Bookkeeping
  • Payroll administration
  • VAT returns
  • Assisting in preparation of relevant reports
  • Maintaining records and administering changes where necessary
  • Dealing with general queries
  • General administrative duties
