As a provider of software to the health and social care sectors, System C undertakes a wide range of assurance activities to ensure we can operate the sector safely and securely.
The Assurance Team has responsibility for driving initiatives aimed at enhancing risk management, compliance, information security and resilience across the System C. It is the role of the team to empower teams across the organisation to meet customer and regulatory expectations while fostering trust and supporting growth.
As a key member of the wider Assurance Team, the Junior Assurance Officer, internally known as the Associate Assurance Officer, will undertake variety of activities across all areas of the business, offering the opportunity to work across all functions, from Product to Software Engineering, HR to Service Delivery and Purchasing.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist with internal audits and external certification processes.
- Guide teams on governance, risk, and compliance practices.
- Support risk assessments, data protection impact assessments and privacy-by-design activities.
- Contribute to due diligence processes across product and operational areas.
- Work with the Product Team to build expertise in information governance and security.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration to embed assurance into daily operations.

- Confident communicator with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
