This Graduate Program is an 18-month development opportunity, which consists of 2 rotations – 9 months each.

Take on a Challenge!

You will join the Amcor Transformation team made up of experienced Project managers and business process experts who will introduce you into all different aspects related to Business Transformation initiatives, developing new functionalities, and managing different projects. The transformation group support projects in multiple functional areas; Supply Chain, Finance, HR and IT system delivery and enhancements.

The initial 9 Month Rotation, you will work closely with one of the project managers, building knowledge on Project management Fundamentals while helping them to manage, report and deliver a key business project. You will also get an introduction into Business and IT projects, how we govern, daily tasks to ensure project tracking, how to make documentation for project reporting and training, support data and project uploads etc.

During the second rotation you will take the skills developed and business process knowledge and apply these via the ownership of a defined project, from planning to delivery, which will include cross-project alignment, project reporting and coordinating mitigation actions to avoid risks and to resolving problems with support of Senior Project managers.

The expectation is to become one of our experienced project managers, supporting all various kind of business initiatives.

What do you need?

It’s a good start to have the following:

  • Master’s/Honours degree in industrial engineering, electronical engineering, IT, Finance, Business Studies or logistics
  • Internship or work experience in project management - up to 2 years - is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Fluency in English is required
  • The knowledge of another language (e.g. Spanish, French, German) is considered an asset
  • Proactive and result-oriented
  • Collaboration skills and ability to work in a team
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Willingness to travel and work abroad
  • Experience in SAP, Project Management tool – an advantage
