Applications are invited for a Research Technician, in the Division of Pharmacy and Optometry. The post is available from 1st August and will be tenable on a fixed term basis for 12 months.

About the role

You will join the b-neuro laboratory and contribute to a range of experiments including behavioural pharmacology and cognition studies. A willingness to carry out rodent behavioural pharmacology is essential, as is a diligent and careful approach to lab work, attention to detail, and the ability to work well as part of a team. Candidates should have a relevant biological sciences qualification. Previous experience of handling and analysing biological samples using a variety of techniques would be advantageous.

Successful candidates will be subject to pre-employment screening carried out on our behalf by a third party. The offer of employment will be dependent on the successful candidate passing that screening.
