TPT Retirement Solutions is seeking a Payroll Assistant on a 12 month fixed term contract to join our dedicated payroll team.
You will be responsible for
- Providing administrative support, including document management, record keeping, and coordination of payroll correspondence.
- Maintaining accurate member data, including processing personal details and bank account changes.
- Issuing Copy Payslips, P60s, P45s and other payroll correspondence.
- Assisting in payroll preparation and processing as required.
- Conducting audits to ensure payroll data integrity and resolve discrepancies.
- Support preparation of payroll reports, reconciliations and submissions.
- Handling customer queries as required.
- Support the documentation of payroll processes
- Participating in ad-hoc payroll projects and tasks.
- Supporting the Payroll and Finance control framework.
- Assisting the wider Finance team in their activities and projects.
Skills and experience
We are seeking individuals with
- Previous experience in an administrative role working on a variety of tasks.
- Payroll experience is desirable (training will be given).
- Good interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to use your initiative when problem solving.
- Ability to work effectively as a team.
- Ability to work quickly and methodically under pressure and multi-task.
- Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel is essential, any payroll system experience is desirable.
We operate a Hybrid working pattern from a brand new office in Leeds centre, walkable from the train station.
