Introducing the Security Team
The security team works closely with development and operations to build security into applications and support processes. We provide assurance in the application lifecycle in various areas, including; design reviews, supporting automated code scanning, performing targeted application vulnerability assessments, and ethical hacking across systems.
Introducing the Privacy Team
The Privacy team works closely with security, legal and product teams to build privacy by design into applications and support processes. We provide advice, training and support to ensure that our products and ways of working are built with the customer and privacy at the heart of what we do.
Key tasks within the PPM
- Working within our new privacy program management software:
- Recording and updating processing activities and liaising with technical teams for updates.
- Uploading previous reviews and documentation into our new privacy management portal.
- Working with the Privacy Analyst: producing data maps to illustrate the flows of personal data.
- Updating privacy notices and processes with the support of the Privacy Analyst and DPO.
- Supporting the Privacy Analyst with recording DPIAs and LIAs and communicating outcomes to the business.
- Sending out questionnaires and privacy facing tasks that need input from teams across the business.
- Producing reports from the management software to support the privacy team and to update our stakeholders on privacy progress.
- Supporting cookie compliance activities by monitoring scan results and highlighting new cookies/tags added to Trainline sites.
- Assisting the Privacy Analyst with the drafting of a monthly privacy newsletter: focused on updating key business teams with privacy news and developments.
- Assisting the DPO and Privacy Analyst on training and awareness activities: including production of online and face to face training materials. Scope to be involved in delivery of training if interested.
- Monitoring the DPO mailbox and highlighting any high-profile requests received to the Privacy Analyst and DPO.
