Are you a strong analytical and inventive thinker?
Do you enjoy developing pitch ideas for a broad range of clients – from individuals and families, to professional family offices, to corporates or large institutions?
Are you an innovator who loves to solve problems and collaborate with different functions across the bank to get transactions across the line?
We’re looking for an analyst or associate to
- offer support during each stage of a transaction's life, from origination to execution to ongoing maintenance
- develop pitch book presentations to explain the team's offering, discuss client options and recommend strategies to meet client goals
- generate new ideas and creative approaches that push the business forward
- identify and meet client needs, coordinating and working alongside senior colleagues and other divisions
Your team
You’ll be working in the Global Lending Unit in London. Our EMEA team is responsible for delivering bespoke financing solutions to our clients across Wealth Management and the Investment Bank. It also encompasses corporate equity derivatives and special situations.
You'll play an important role in pitching and execution of transactions as well as covering clients. The Global Lending Unit is division agnostic, covering clients across Wealth Management and the Investment Bank. You'll therefore get exposure to a broad range of situations and transactions, for example, structured lending or strategic equity solutions (strategic stakebuilds, disposals, hedging, equity-backed financing).
We are a team with an entrepreneurial and proactive approach and flat organizational structure, working closely with a large variety of clients in different jurisdictions, IB traders, Client advisors, control functions and in a dynamic environment where collaboration is key to deliver bespoke solutions to our clients.
Diversity helps us grow, together. That’s why we are committed to fostering and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. It strengthens our business and brings value to our clients.
Your expertise
You need to be in the last two years of your degree, or recently graduated, no more than 6 months from the start date. In addition, you need to have or be on track for a 2:1 or the equivalent in your first undergraduate degree. It doesn’t matter what you’re studying. (Really, it doesn’t.) But we’d like to see evidence that you can:
- analyse a problem, take a view and come to a decision
- plan, organize and communicate well
- make things happen
- stick with a task - work in a team
- come up with ideas
Perhaps you’ve organized a fundraising event or taken part in team sports? Or persevered and passed an exam in a subject you found challenging? Think about how things you’ve achieved match the skills we’re after.
Your Program
Our off-cycle internships typically last 3-6 months.
