At Uniper we are looking for an enthusiastic undergraduate to join the UK Proposal Management team on a 48-52 week placement. Your main focus will be in supporting and developing the commercial proposal for our internal partners.
Whilst supporting our Growth business lines this role offers you the opportunity to work alongside a team of engineering specialists to support Uniper's net zero commitments across our international portfolio of projects, whilst growing your own skills and experience at the same time.
Your responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, documentation and coordination of proposals to support business growth
- Support our team by analysing trends, creating reports and designing dashboards to visualise insights via data analysis
- Manage and track commercial processes with our internal tools
- Collaborate with different departments and stakeholders to optimise proposal workflows
- Conduct research and assist in decision-making processes based on data insights
- Help to improve data management processes and ensure data quality
- Implement yourself to optimise our daily work with your ideas and enthusiasm
Your profile
Essential
- Currently studying towards a degree in a business, legal, economics, engineering field
- The ideal candidate would be someone looking to build their experience of working within a proposal or bid management function, procurement team, or a commercial role within the energy industry.
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
- You should be highly motivated, innovative and focused to deliver winning offers.
- You will need to be effective at coordinating and managing your own time to ensure proposals are completed to deadlines.
Desirable
- Comfortable to work with stakeholders from commercial and technical backgrounds.
- Previous experience from working in a customer facing role would be desirable.
- An ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Strong communication skills and a proven team player.
