About the role

The Research Assistant will undertake basic research including conducting literature reviews and database searches whilst also providing research support to the academic research manager. The new Centre will have a strongly collaborative approach with local, regional, and national uniformed public services organisations to tackle issues around equality, diversity, and inclusion. They will also contribute to the planning of research projects, the preparation of research applications and assisting with the writing of research reports and papers as directed by the lead academic.

You will have a Degree and with excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to think innovatively to join our excellent team and be at the heart of this important new Centre, as well as supporting the research excellence within both VFI & PIER. You will have experience of writing concise but comprehensive reports/papers.
