The Byre is a theatre and venue in St Andrews, part of the University of St Andrews. It hosts a varied and vibrant programme of University, amateur and professional touring productions of theatre, dance, musicals, music and opera and family friendly performances.
The Programme and Marketing Team is looking for a University of St Andrews student to undertake a part-time, paid internship, using digital and other marketing tools to support the team as they meet the theatre’s aims of delivering a diverse and balanced programme of events that reach diverse audiences from a range of backgrounds while achieving attendance and income targets.
This post is intended for current students of the University of St Andrews who will be graduating in 2023 or 2024 and will be fixed term for 1 academic year, with the possibility of an extension.
We are looking for someone with
- A courteous and professional attitude
- An interest in and good knowledge of theatre and arts
- At least 3 months experience of working in the arts sector on any level.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate a desire for a career involving the Arts
