Here at The University of York Students Union, we have an exciting job opportunity for someone to join our Commercial Services team as our Business Administrator.

About the role

Our teams are fundamental to the guest experience. For the leaders of these teams, having as much information as possible is vital for guiding decision-making.

Your role will be crucial in developing, maintaining, and implementing financial information through various channels of data analysis and system maintenance.

You will work with all levels of the organisation, tailoring information and recommendations to guide them through the challenges they face. Through this collaborative approach, you will ensure that there are sufficient check and balance systems guiding all elements of the organisation.

Your primary focus will be on data analysis. Collaborating with our audit, finance, and operational teams, you will compile key information from each venue or specific area and present it to different stakeholders within the organisation. As we continue to be driven by the data you gather, your role will evolve to improve existing systems and reports to help the organisation constantly adapt, innovate and deal with day-to-day challenges.

By working with Operations, Venue, and Training managers, you will ensure they have all the core information needed to make informed decisions, thereby helping to drive the standards of the organisation.
