As our Graduate Talent Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future leaders of our organization!

You will be responsible for managing projects related to two of our programs for young talents: the Rising Executive Programme and the Summer Work Experience Programme.

About the Rising Executive Programme

The Rising Executive Programme is a transformative rotational journey designed to equip aspiring young professionals with the essential skills for future leadership. As Business Analysts, participants will immerse themselves in diverse geographies and business functions, gaining firsthand insights into the core drivers that propel our European and UK-based operations. The programme offers a curated suite of development opportunities, including strategic projects, task forces, and exclusive networking events, complemented by targeted trainings, workshops, and annual conferences to hone management and leadership skills. At the programme conclusion, each Rising Executive collaborates closely with the Director to craft a personalized post-graduation trajectory.

The ultimate aim? To cultivate the next generation of Value Retail’s managers and leaders: individuals ready to steer our business boldly into the future.

What you will be doing

  • Assist the Graduate Talent Director to implement the rotation strategy for our Rising Executives
  • Identify high-level business needs, new priorities, and emerging initiatives across the organization to determine suitable rotations annually
  • Assist with the recruitment process of our Rising Executives, from sourcing, interviewing to offer making
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding, connecting new hires to their teams and work locations
  • Manage relocation logistics for any Rising Executives rotating geographically to ensure a seamless transition for those moving to new locations
  • Source external training providers and organize relevant training sessions to support the development plans of Rising Executives
  • Lead the project management of the planning and design of our annual Rising Executive Conference; drive the conference planning team to ensure the success of the conference
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between HR Services and Rising Executives during rotations or hiring's
  • Be responsible for any visa and right to work related matters, onboarding and accommodation

  • A proven background within graduate, MBA and/or apprentices will be advantageous

  • Proven track record of client service focus and credibility with senior management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, showcasing creativity and out-of-the-box thinking
  • Demonstrate high level of integrity and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
